When we dream about what life would be like if we were rich and famous, one of the main fantasies that we have is the purchasing a home for our parents. After all, they have given us so much and it is only right that we give back. That is what makes stories like this one so special. While some may know him as “The Rock”, Dwayne Johnson loves to keep it real.

What could be realer than this? He is not content to rest on his laurels as one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood or his string of smash hit blockbuster films. Johnson is still looking to give back to the world and he is never going to forget the people who were most instrumental to his success: his family. He’s a great entertainer and an even better human being.

This story is definitely going to hit you right square in the feels, so be forewarned. One of his most recent social media posts was dedicated to the woman who raised him. He wanted to make sure that his mother had the best Christmas possible and he was willing to go above and beyond. That is just what Dwayne Johnson does and we are here for it!

He wasn’t about to give his mother a sweater or a necklace, though. Dwayne wanted to provide his mother with a gift that would truly show his gratitude for all of the sacrifices that she made on his behalf. He spent much of his childhood without a permanent home to call his own. This experience has already definitely shaped the man that he is today.

This one felt good. Surprise! Bought my mom a new home for Christmas. All our lives growing up we lived in little apartments all across the country. Lived like gypsies on the road from one state to another. The first home my parents ever lived in was the one I bought for them in 1999. They divorced about 5yrs later and as with life, stuff happens and things got a little complicated. Since then I always made sure my mom and dad have everything they’ll ever need – houses, cars etc. But the house this time is a special one and the timing is very meaningful. I told her to treat this card like it’s “Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket” because she gets to choose any home she wants – anywhere she wants. I always say, if you got a good mama, then you gotta pretty good shot at becoming a decent human being. And somehow, somewhere along the line I became one lucky SOB to be able to make stuff like this happen. Merry Christmas Ma and WOOOHOOO enjoy your new home. Dwanta ????????

That’s what makes this gift such a perfect homage (give or take a few letters). Dwayne says that his childhood was spent moving from apartment to apartment. He does not want his mother to ever go through these types of ordeals again.
