Woman Reveals Just What It’s Like To Be Pregnant With Triplets And Her Baby Bump Defies Physics

For anyone that has given birth to a baby, you know that the last trimester is anything but FUN.

The side effects of pregnancy are not glamorous or beautiful they include morning sickness, more frequent urination, lack of sleep, swollen feet just for starters.

Most women gain an average of 25-35 pounds during their pregnancy, but if you are carrying multiples the number is going to increase even more then that.

When Maria and her husband, Anders found out she was carrying triplets – two boys and a girl – during her second pregnancy, they decided to share weekly updates on Instagram.

Maria and Anders were only expecting to add one more child, they admitted it was a “huge shock” when they were told they were pregnant with THREE!

“What a journey this has been! From the huge shock of learning, there were three, to people’s reactions, the numerous scannings/checks, and all the preparations and planning for this life-changing event. Nothing like the ordinary,” Maria captioned another photo.

“I’m glad we took these pictures because this collage really shows the massive growth. It’s strange to have ended up with such a big belly and it’s even stranger that it can stand out like that without falling down.”

However, along with the sweet photos of her growing stomach, Maria had to figure out how they would fit the extra accessories into their tiny 860sq ft apartment.

Maria has had to deal with some other side-effects of pregnancy…Stretch Marks!

Fortunately, she does so with a sense of humor.

“Well, they had to arrive eventually… The stretch marks I mean. What can you do about it? Officially a member of the Tiger Stripes Moms Club,” Maria wrote.

UPDATE:  On September 13, Maria gave birth to “3 beautiful babies,” Iben, Agnes, and Filip at 35 weeks pregnant. “Everything went really well, and we are so happy and relieved,” Maria shared.

Congratulations to Maria and Anders on their three new bundles of joy.
